Social media for growing businesses

Easier social media shouldn't mean generic social media.

Social.me learns your business properly first. Then we run your social media with content that's recognisably yours, without it becoming another job on your list.

Built for businesses that have outgrown their current client base and need to reach new people.

The logo test

Remove the logo. Is it still yours?

Picture your last few posts without your name, logo or brand colours. Could someone in your industry still tell they came from your business? A post can be polished, accurate and professional, and still belong to almost anyone.

Why our sourdough takes 36 hours, and why we won't rush it

Most bread you buy was dough this morning. Ours started the day before yesterday. Here's what those extra hours do to the flavour, the crust and how long it stays fresh.

Says something only this business would say.
Why content goes generic

Generic content isn't a writing problem. It's an understanding problem.

  1. 01
Content gets made before anyone understands the business

Without knowing what makes you different, even good writers fall back on what's true of your whole industry.

  2. 02
Easier production means more of the same

The faster content becomes to make, especially with AI, the more of it sounds alike. That makes being specific more valuable, not less.

  3. 03
You end up supplying all the thinking

When the provider doesn't really know your business, you're left inventing topics, briefing and rewriting. Outsourcing becomes another job.

How it works

We dive deep first, so you don't have to keep diving in later.

Your time goes in at the start, when it matters most. After that, a system built around your business does the ongoing work.

1

Tell us about your business

A focused set of questions: who you serve, the problem you solve, what makes you different, your personality, a real customer story.

Your input
2

We build your strategy

What you should become known for, who matters most, the tension your audience feels, and the beliefs your content needs to shift.

Our work
3

We turn it into a content system

The rules for what you talk about, how often, how you sound, when to sell and when not to, so every post builds on the last.

Our work
4

Your content, planned and produced

Each post has a job and a reason to exist. It's planned against what's already gone out, then written and designed for you.

Our work

The work is designed so that understanding your business up front replaces the endless briefing later. You stay in charge of your brand without having to keep feeding ideas into the machine.

Strategy before content

Before a single post, we decide what your business should be known for.

Two businesses in the same industry shouldn't get the same content. These are the decisions that make yours different.

Who and why

  • The audience worth building around
  • What they're dealing with before they find you
  • What they currently believe, and what they need to believe instead

What to stand for

  • The position you should own
  • The few messages worth repeating
  • The difference that actually matters to customers

How it shows up

  • Topics you talk about, and those you don't
  • A voice that sounds like you, written down as rules
  • When to sell, and when to just be useful
About AI

Yes, we use AI. No, it isn't the strategy.

AI is excellent at producing content quickly. Left on its own, it produces content that sounds like everyone else's. At Social.me, the strategy tells the technology what to say, not the other way round.

Decided by strategy

One client was blown away by how little of his time it took to work with us, and by how much social media presence we created for him. He's now connected to a much, much bigger client base.

A Social.me client experience. Shared without names.
Is this for you?

Built for businesses that are ready to reach further.

You've maxed out your current client base

Word of mouth got you here. Growing further means reaching people who don't know you yet.

You don't have the time

You know social media matters. You just can't be the one producing it every week.

You won't settle for generic

You care how your business shows up, and you don't want it sounding like everyone else in your industry.

Questions

Fair questions.

How much of my time will this take?

Most of your input comes at the start, when we're learning your business. That upfront depth is what lets the ongoing work run without you constantly briefing, inventing topics or rewriting.

Will it actually sound like us?

That's the whole point. We start by working out what's specific to your business: your expertise, your point of view, what you'd never say. Every post is built on that rather than on industry templates.

Isn't this just AI-generated content?

We use AI to help produce content efficiently, but it works from a strategy built specifically for your business. Technology without that context produces the generic content we exist to avoid.

We already have someone doing our social media. Why switch?

Try the logo test on your recent posts. If they'd still be recognisably yours without the branding, you're in good shape. If not, the problem usually starts before the content, with how well your business is understood.

Do you work with businesses like mine?

We work with businesses that have grown, want to reach new clients, and don't have the time or in-house skills to do social media properly themselves. Each one gets a strategy built around it, not a package built around an industry.
